Civil War Final Project (Day 1)

Objective: Describe the important Civil War battles and events, including the Massachusetts 54th Regiment and the Battle at Fort Wagner.

Tech Objective: None

Outcome: Glory Worksheet and Civil War Project

Agenda:

1. Finish last 15 minutes of Glory, the movie. Students must complete all questions on the Glory movie guide and discussion questions by tomorrow.

2. Explain the Civil War final project (last project of the year!)

3. Students may choose their project and begin working independently. Projects are due on Friday at the end of class.

Homework: *Glory worksheet is due tomorrow! Read and highlight Chapter 11 Section 4 “The North Takes Charge” in your textbook and create Cornell Notes on page 57. Due Friday.
